The primary allure of Lake Toba in North Sumatra lies in the beauty of nature. The largest Volcanic Lake in the world is the mainstay of North Sumatra tourism, being one of the few tourist destinations Indonesia's most crowded foreign tourists, besides Bali, Jakarta, Jogjakarta, and Eastern Indonesia.
